The success story continues: 850TH MIRAFLEX manufactured
In November of this year, the 850th machine in this series, a MIRAFLEX II, was successfully completed and will soon be delivered. Since 2008, our MIRAFLEX flexo printing press has been delighting customers all over the world and is currently in use in over 90 countries and is by far the most successful flexo printing press on the market for printing flexible packaging.
To celebrate the 850th anniversary, the entire MIRAFLEX team gathered at Plant 3 in Lengerich for a small celebration. Over 250 employees were present and Peter Steinbeck, CEO, thanked everyone for their indispensable contribution to the development of the MIRAFLEX, without whom this phenomenal success of the machine would not have been possible. He also shared some insights into his own professional development at W&H and the growth process of MIRAFLEX.
The head of the printing division, Hermann Veismann, also reminisced about the beginning of MIRAFLEX's success. In figurative terms, this remarkable achievement spanned from Lengerich to Hamburg. Loading all 850 MIRAFLEX onto a goods train consecutively would cover the distance between Lengerich and Hamburg. This demonstrates the immense scale of this milestone.
The celebration was a huge success. The atmosphere was relaxed, featuring beverages, food trucks, and engaging dialogue amongst colleagues. We have shown that even after 16 years, our machine is still adaptable and successful worldwide. We are looking forward to the future and celebrating another anniversary!
