W&H at Chinaplas 2021: Hall 10, Booth P21

Our extrusion, printing and converting experts will be happy to introduce to you the latest W&H innovations, including RUBY.

With RUBY, W&H´s new IoT system, you can digitalize your value chain and use your data to monitor, automate and improve your packaging production. RUBY is offered as a platform with various freely-combinable extensions in order to provide you with an individually-tailored range of functions for extrusion, printing and converting.

Among its film applications, W&H will present its entire blown and cast film portfolio from 3-11 layers with a focus on environmentally-friendly solutions for flexible packaging:
Mono-material packaging solutions are on the rise - and with them the technology of W&H´s Machine Direction Orientation (MDO) unit. Both PE films as well as EVOH films processed with MDO technology fulfill the requirements of the downstream processes and enhanced barrier properties – whilst maintaining recyclability.

For printing, W&H will showcase machines for both CI flexo & gravure technologies with a particular focus on water-based inks, volatile organic compounds (VOC) reduction and quick changeover times.

For industrial packaging, W&H will present the latest OPTIMEX II FFS blown film line with 500kgs unblocked film with 3-layers.

In converting, W&H will present its tuber and bottomer portfolio for paper & PE sacks, including POLYTEX and the AD Plastic 2 valve bottomer using hot air sealing technology, as well as the new moisture proof (MP) sack concept and integrated channel sealing.

Full-line solutions will be shown by W&H for wPP sacks as well as by AVENTUS - the specialist for solutions for packing of free-flowing loose goods up to finished pallets - for which W&H has been appointed representative.

In addition to GARANT's bag making machines for paper, W&H will also present bag making machines from German Bäumer & Bäumer (B&B) for side-gusseted bags with re-closures and for pouches with inline spout insertion and optional leak detection.
