Mr. Fischer, please introduce yourself and your region
It has begun just in 1996, when the first W&H employee touched base in Asia, which was in Bangkok, Thailand. I was hosted by our exclusive agent, who required more technical support from the manufacturer. I followed the demand with my family and W&H management supported this challenge being the first footprint in Asia. Step by step more functions have been implemented steadily, such as sales, service technicians, administrational support – the business was growing and the expectation of the customers increased as well. Our ‘Co Ltd’. was founded in 2008 as we needed to accommodate more foreigners. Our business grew from around 20mio. € to today above 200mio. € incl.services. Today our Hub Asia Pacific engages 180 people and our footprint has been enlarged to 11 countries.
